Shia LaBeouf is an American actor and filmmaker known for his early work as Louis Stevens on the Disney Channel series Even Stevens. His performance on the show earned him nominations for the Young Artist Award in 2001 and 2002, and he won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2003. He began his film career with his debut in The Christmas Path in 1998. LaBeouf expanded his career into directing, starting with the short film Let's Love Hate in 2004. He continued to direct, including the short film Maniac in 2011, which featured rappers Cage and Kid Cudi.
