Keir Starmer is a British politician and lawyer who became Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 2024. He has led the Labour Party since 2020 and previously served as Leader of the Opposition from 2020 to 2024. Starmer has represented Holborn and St Pancras as a Member of Parliament since 2015. Before his parliamentary career, he was Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013, overseeing legal matters for England and Wales.
